Donations

Information on needed donations and how to donate to be posted here.

update 29 Mar 2016, Occupy currently has few needs for donations, although useful items are always welcome.  We were looking for a Weber style charcoal burner, but ended up having to purchase a new one from the corporations, since we couldn’t find an old one in the community.

  1. WISH LIST FOR LIVING ROOM:

Free standing rack for our handout literature and important reading literature. If you do a search on “floor magazine and flyer rack” you will see lots of ideas we could use.

Bookcases we can set behind the chairs. We need more space to set things on, but we don’t have floor space for anything large. Bookcases around the perimeter of the Living Room would serve the purpose.

Library: More small colored stickers to organize the books

Office Supplies: scissors, tape, markers (lots of markers), pens, pencils

Large Free Standing White Board for Important Daily news. At least 3ft by 3ft. The ‘Go To” place for each day’s key information.

    WISH LIST FOR KITCHEN:

Shelves and containers on those shelves for people to place their own mug, plate, bowl, silverware. If these items are labeled with the user’s name, that person can be responsible to keep it clean and put it away. Fewer dishes, fewer pests, less work all around.

    WISH LIST FOR SIGNS:
Some type of rack to organize our signs and cardboard to keep them together, tidy, dry, and accessible. They must also be placed away from wind.

  2. Laser printer, so we can print our own double sided flyers. Ink jet printer would be affected by the cold.

    Sleeping Bags

A roll of emergency blanket material, available from the Indoor garden shop on Superior Street we have been told.
